After scoring almost 160 crores on indian box office in its first week, second week also commenced with bang and film managed to score another 65 crores in second week of its run.
On its third friday, Padmavat has raked in 3.5 crores and showed a growth of about 75% to collect 6.25 crores on its third saturday despite facing competition from another big release Padman.
Padmavat proved to be Shahid Kapoor’s first film to score 100 crores having him in a major role. This film has consolidated Deepika Padukone’s position as the greatest female lead of this decade.
Padmavat has put Ranveer Singh in a league of his own if we compare him with other actors of his age bracket. Ranveer will be next seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Gully Boy that will release on Valentines day next year.
